MEET THE REDWOOD ORIGINAL

Meet Leonard

We bought Leonard as a yearling with no plans of ever standing him at stud. But it didn't take long to see he was different. His willingness, his try, his athleticism — and above all, his mind — changed our plans fast. We never looked back.

Leonard can do it all. He's competitive at the big races, he'll show up and get the job done in the futurities on the head side, and at the end of the day, he's gentle and reliable enough to carry our 15-year-old daughter through her high school rodeo runs.

That's the kind of horse he is — talented enough to compete at the top and trustworthy enough to hand to a kid.

That combination of athleticism, versatility, and disposition is exactly what he passes on to his foals, and it's why we're proud to stand him.
